Trouble updating record – database error

    Hi there – I tried to update a member’s company address (physical address, not email address) in the admin wordpress portal, and it came back with an error at the top of the page:

    Database Error: Duplicate entry ” for key ‘record_slug’

    Any idea why that might be happening?

    Are you using the “permalinks” add-on?

    yes, i have enabled the add on but I don’t think I have done anything with it yet

    It’s because the permalinks plugin isn’t set up yet. You should keep it deactivated until you want to set it up and start using it.

    If you want to set it up, go to the PDB permalinks settings page, there are some simple instructions there.
