Trouble Upgrading WordPress 2.3.3 to 2.5

    The other day I attempted to install and upgrade my wordpress from 2.3.3 to 2.5. I thought I was in for a long and hectic time but I realized that when I saw the message:

    “Your wordpress database is out-of-date and must be upgraded before you continue….this process may take a while so please be patient….Upgrade WordPress.”

    Well I sat there for a few minutes waiting patiently until I realized nothing was happening.

    The problem is the UI. Some of us will not realize that the “Upgrade WordPress” is not a statement of a process in progress as the message might suggest but an actual BUTTON!!!
