Trouble uploading images

  • I have installed two wordpress blogs on Windows servers and get the following message when I try uploading an image and when I try moving my blog from its existing site to the new one:
    \\HOSTING\DFS\20\9\6\3\2034064369\user\sites\professorford.com\www\wordpress/wp-content/uploads

    Based on similar issues others have had, I tried changing permissions for the uploads file to 755 and 777, but they did not take – “command not understood”.

    Any ideas out there

    Hi,

    Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-contents folder and set correct path for upload from wordpress admin area -> settings -> miscellaneous settings.
