Trouble with ACF fields in Options

  • Hi,

    Relevanssi is working well on my site and will get results from both post content and ACF fields correctly when they are featured on a page.

    However I have an ACF based testimonial page, and the content of this is created and saved in the ACF Options page. It seems that because this is not related to a specific page ID that Relevanssi ignores it.

    Does this sound correct and is there any solution?

    Yes, the free version of Relevanssi can’t index anything that doesn’t have a post ID.

    If the testimonial page has a post ID, it is possible to have Relevanssi index the ACF contents for that page. The solution is to use a relevanssi_content_to_index filter function that reads the ACF content for Relevanssi to index.
