I have a few wordpress websites on my server and all of them upgraded to 4.3 with no problem except one which gives me the following error:

    Could not copy file.: wordpress/wp-admin/images/menu-2x.png

When I went to check to see if I could upload images with the media uploader, I could upload all images except for pngs. Below is the error I get from the media uploader. I have double checked the settings in my php.ini file and they are the same size for both post_size and upload_max. The file size in question is also not empty (15kb).

File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

I’ve never noticed this before but haven’t been to the site in over a year. It is using a child of the twentythirteen theme. Any ideas or suggestions?

Now I cannot upgrade any plugins either. Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction as none of the threads I’ve looked at in this forum provide any solutions.

Alright I feel a little (no a lot) stupid. The issue was the client was over his disk space usage. DOH

Oh well, in case someone else has a similar issue and looks for the impossible solution instead of the simple one like I did I’ll leave this thread instead of deleting it.
