Trouble with .com to .org – what is "pointing the domain?"

    Hi,

    Like many people here, I’m having trouble moving from .com to .org. I’ve read a lot of the posts and a common theme seems to be to point the domain to the .org. Could someone please tell me what pointing the domain is, where I find it and how I carry it out?

  • You need to purchase web hosting first. Then you go to whoever you registered your domain name with and point it to the web host’s name servers.

    Exactly how it’s done depends on who you registered the name with.
