  • Is kineticframes.com pointing towards the relevant place on your main domain? How have you set up any forwarding?

Bluehost have an awful customer service and have been hopeless in helping with my query.

Really? As one of the recommended hosts on https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/ we would really expect them to handle these kinds of questions fairly easily. What (if any) help have they provided?

Note: I’ve tagged this topic with the hosts’ name as, in these situations, we do try to monitor the level of support that they are offering.

In the past Bluehost have been great but this time they didn’t help me resolve my issue. This is a transcript of the chat I had:

In order to Addon or Park a domain please perform the following steps:

    1- Login to cPanel
2- Click on “DOMAIN MANAGER” Tab
3- Click on “Assign a domain to your cPanel account”
4- Carefully read and follow the instructions given on that page
(3:39) [Susan] Sorry this is a little unclear to me. The website I currently have is attached to the primary domain which is https://www.kineticframes.com/violentfemme – how do I change this is the domain I have just purchased https://www.theviolentfemme.com?
    (3:53) [William H.] 1- Login to cPanel
2- Click on “DOMAIN MANAGER” Tab
3- Click on “Assign a domain to your cPanel account”
4- Carefully read and follow the instructions given on that page for theviolentfemme.com select the folder violentfemme from the list of existing folders
    (3:56) [ChatClosedByStaff] {“staffId”:”186″}

However there wasn’t a violentfemme to choose from on the list but they had already closed the chat down!

Kinetic Frames is the primary and the violentfemme is the add-on

If you already have it assigned to your account as an Addon, then you only need to edit your WordPress URLs.
Log into WordPress (probably currently https://www.kineticframes.com/violentfemme/wp-admin )
Go under Settings to General Settings and change both URLs on the right to be https://www.theviolentfemme.com instead.
    Click Save at the bottom.

    Thank you that worked perfectly!
