    Hello,

I’m having trouble with the drag’n’drop editor, in that it’s doing nothing:

I’ve used this plugin for about a year on my movie club blog and love it, have created a fresh site today for another project and so naturally this is the first plugin I’ve installed (so, currently running a brand new 5.2.3 install with a fresh Newsletter plugin installed via the plugin manager with no other plugins).

You can see in the video I’m using incognito, none of my browser plugins are available in incognito to rule out them affecting it (such as adblock messes it up something chronic if I don’t disable it for the site). I’ve also tried this in Microsoft Edge which has never been used for anything but download Chrome and has no plugins at all. Same problem.

Don’t feel it’s a browser / system issue given I can use the install on my other site without issue.

Have deleted and re-added the plugin to see if it was an install error – though not sure the effectiveness of this as even though I ticked “delete files” on uninstall it has retained all my settings (including SMTP and custom user data).

Have green OK’s across everything under status and my log has just a bunch of add/drop/change column sql queries:

One thing that does concern me is even though the site’s running over SSL I got a warning saying some scripts were being loaded from a non-secure source (so I clicked to allow them) which is why you’re getting that “Not Secure” warning in Chrome.

Have deleted and re-installed both wordpress and the plugin (including wiping the database) and it’s installed fine this time around – must’ve been an install error that the re-install didn’t resolve = \

Uhm, I don’t know what could have been the root cause, actually. If it happens again, open the chrome console (CTRL-SHIFT-I) to see if it reports errors.

    Stefano.
