Trouble with homepage on Mystique theme

Hi,

Apologies in advance as I’m probably being thick.

I’m trying to get a site going for my mate using the Mystique Theme here

The homepage isn’t letting me edit it like a normal page and just gives me “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here”. Is there any way I can make it behave like a normal page?
