Trouble with IE
-
Hello,
I hope this is the correct place for this question (kind of surprised there isn’t a specific place for Internet Explorer problems). I’m learning WordPress, html and css fairly quickly, but I’m still relatively new to it all (a month or so, give or take).
The website: camryn-limo.com/Camryn
I’m creating the website for a client, working in Firefox. I’ve got pretty much everything worked out to my satisfaction (except for a couple pages the are waiting on images and copy). So, I belatedly went to check out how it looks in other browsers. And, with the exception of a few differences in positioning of a few elements, everything looks great until I get to IE.
I’m using the latest version (so I don’t even want to know how bad it is in older versions), and it makes me want to cry.
I ran a CSS validation, and it looks like most of the problems there are in the -moz/-transition/etc… elements which I believe are mostly for creating drop shadows and the like, which I knew wouldn’t work in IE anyway. An html validation yields a host of issues that I think mostly stem from the theme I’m using (MyCorpTheme) and most of which I can’t follow.
So, I’m wondering if there is any way to fix what’s wrong and get this working in IE. As much as I wish I had time to work through everything, this is on a tight schedule and my boss seems to think I can just pull up every browser ever created and make sure everything looks great.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Judah
Edit: Checking out some of the interior pages, I find they look great. The major problems are all with the homepage: menu, title and home-boxes.
