• Greetings–

I tried to install a new plugin, but the whole system was very, very slow, and then I got this message:
An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

I emailed my host (who unfortunately outsources to India) and they came back with:
The issue that you are facing is mainly due to the number of fcgi processes allocated for your account has been saturated. We allow 3 child process and for each child process, 256 worker processes. Once that limit is breached, you see that kind of error. However, those errors are auto-fixed once the number of processes reduce.

It seems that some wordpress plugin is causing the issue. I would suggest you to optimize the code of the website and wordpress in order to resolve the issue.Disable any memory consuming plugins or themes. The following kb will provide you more insights on how to improve wordpress performance: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_Optimization

I have deactivated ALL of the plugins, but still get the same message when I try to load a new plugin.

Anyone have any ideas of what this could be??
