    Hi, you have to assign a featured image to posts on the grid layout, and it will also show up as the header image and that featured image will also be the header image on the single post pages. Featured Images in Pictorico work best at a minimum of 1200 wide and 590 high.

    On the Pictorico demo site, what you are seeing at the top of the main page, with the next and previous arrows, are featured content, not a header image.

    To use the featured content slider at the top of your main page, you create a special tag and assign that tag to the posts you want to show at the top of your site in the slider and then make sure that those posts have featured images set. See the Pictorico Theme Showcase page under Featured Content for more information on setting all that up.

    @sacredpath i found the above documentation link to be helpful. @86neto this should solve your problem.

    @86neto, here is what I see at Appearance > Customize on Pictorico on my test site: https://cldup.com/B8wcUfr_Zp.png . What version of Pictorico are you using? If you are using an older version, then take a look at Settings > Reading and see if it is located there, about 3/4 of the way down the page (above follower settings).

    hank you so much for the help, but the thing is under Customize -Appearance I dont have the submenu “Featured Content”

    86neto – to use the Featured Content slider in Pictorico you’ll need Featured Content from the Jetpack plugin:

    Hello, thanks Kathyn, you are on truth. No i download Jetpack plugin and i can see my slider. But i also have the same problem. I can’t see ARROWS on my slider.

    @EDGAR_GR, can we have a link to your site? so we can take a look? I would suspect that there is either something that has been deleted from the CSS, or possibly changed. These are the two CSS rules for the next and previous buttons on the slider.

    .flex-direction-nav a:before {
        color: white;
        content: "?";
        display: inline-block;
        font-size: 64px;
    }
    .flex-direction-nav a.flex-next:before {
        content: "?";
    }

    Both require the font family “Genericons”, which is set in a different CSS rule. You can specify the font though in the first rule above, like this.

    .flex-direction-nav a:before {
        color: white;
        content: "?";
        display: inline-block;
        font-family: "Genericons";
        font-size: 64px;
    }
    .flex-direction-nav a.flex-next:before {
        content: "?";
    }

    @sacredpath, Perfect!!! thanks!!! i solve the problem!! thanks alot!

    @86neto, if you are talking about the Hollywood’s High Seas Tattoo Parlor image, that is the header image, and it is static. I see you have Jetpack installed on your site, if you go to Appearance > Customize, there should be a Feature Content Entry there. Did you set a tag there for your featured content? Are the images you are using for your featured image at least 1180px in width? Have you assigned your featured content tag to the posts you wish to show up in the slider from within the post editor?

    Take a look at the Pictorico Showcase page “Featured Content” on setting up the featured content slider.
