• Hi! Really need some help.

    I have a news blog site, and all of the posts get listed on a single page- there are 300+ entries listed and it takes forever to scroll, and for the page to load.

    I have tried changing the settings to display fewer posts, but that doesn’t work. I think the theme may be overriding it. The theme is Deodar.

    I went into the Theme Editor, and found where I can limit the entries per page, and that works, but only on mobile, and sometimes on desktop depending on browser. Also, if I do limit the posts, it does not allow me to see any old posts, there is no 1-2-3-4-5 type of archive that you would see on a google search for example.

    Can anyone help me with this? Site is AlphaTech.news

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Because you’re using a commercial theme, please use their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.

    Commercial products are not supported in these forums.

    Is that the support? To go to a random wordpress theme support group that has nothing to do with the theme I am using? LOL.

    From your theme’s style.css:

    /*
    Theme Name: Deodar
    Theme URI: https://justfreethemes.com/deodar/
    Author: WiThemes
    Author URI: https://themeforest.net/user/withemes
    Description: Blog WordPress Theme by WiThemes
    Version: 1.1
    Requires at least: 5.2
    Tested up to: 5.4.1
    Requires PHP: 5.4
    Text Domain: deodar
    License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
    License URI: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
    Tags: two-columns, right-sidebar, custom-colors, custom-menu, featured-images, threaded-comments, translation-ready
    */

    I’m not exactly sure where you got it.

    The problem resides in your theme. The term you are looking for is pagination. The developer of the theme should have programmed it in. Your theme was purchased through ThemeForest.net. Since it’s a commercial theme. Themeforest.net is who would provide support for the theme. This form is for non-commercial themes. Here is the link in the codex if you wish to study how pagination works in WordPress. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Pagination
