Trouble with Site and WordPress URL

  • I am currently having trouble with my locally hosted WordPress site, so when I put in the URL for WordPress and change it to my computers IP https://192.168.x.x rather than https://localhost. But when I view it from someone else’s internet the page never stops loading, when I view the source of it. Its trying to pull data from the 192.168.x.x on that internet rather than my IP. If you have any experience with this or know how to help please do!

    If this is confusing I can try to explain it in an easy way to comprehend.

    The IP will work for your Local Lan Only, you can see it with a device connected to your LAN/Wifi Only and not from Internet.

    Is there any way I can make it so I can view it from LAN and other internet? or no?

    yes you can view it from your LAN or on a wifi connected device by typing in IP.

    to make it Visible on internet , you can upload it to a free webhost like 000webhost.com or something similar
