Trouble with Slider on theme…

HI all,

Not sure where to post this but I am having a major issue with my theme and it showing every post in the slider even thought I have only one category chosen to display in the slider.

I purchased a template from themeforest from an author that will not reply to my concern. i love themeforest but unfortunately they do not require the authors to provide customer services.

In this theme I have 5 options for a slider where all sliders but one work perfectly. Well, as luck would have it, the slider that I want to use is the one that does not work.

I have the post category I want as a default in settings and the posts categories are set the same.

What gives and what can I do to fi this small but big problem? I can post code here but not sure if I am even posting this in the correct place.

Really hope someone can help me here. Any help is always appreciated.
