trouble with slideshow 'paging up'

I thought I’d ask if anyone could help. I created a slideshow from this tutorial. If you look at the homepage, and try and read the text below the slideshow, while you’re reading the page jumps back up whenever the slide changes.Anyone know how I could get rid of this issue?
