Hi. I recently changed my theme to the studiopress them from dailyblogtips. I have a couple issues now which seem to be easily fixed, but I can not figure it out. First, my site, mainly the sidebars, doesn’t show up properly in internet explorer but is fine in firefox. The main issue though is my side bars in the main menu have blocks missing in their background colors. They’re just not displaying right. I assumed this was a css issue but couldn’t fix on my own. Any help would be appreciated. The website is playstation4guru.com
    Thanks,
    Jason C.

Start by sorting out the markup errors. Then move onto the CSS errors.

I’d also suggest deactivating the php_speedy_wp plugin.

Ok, thanks. Ill check it out. Is there something wrong with php speedy I’m not aware of?

I think it’s messing up your site’s CSS.

Thanks for the advice. Disabled php speedy and checked for errors. Was happy to only find 50 of them compared to walmart’s 269! lol. Anyway, in the process of fixing them now. Some of them are from plugins that I can’t really fix I don’t think. We’ll see.

-try deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem . If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit?

I appreciate the advice on this. Narrowed many errors on one of my sites down to the mingle plugin, which I think is a great one btw, and replaced it with buddypress which I’ve never used before. Kinda like it so far. Lot’s to take in though, lol.
