    Hi,

Thx for the update, it’s great to see that this good plugin is still in dev ??

By the way since the 2.0 update i have some troubles.

Here is an exemple : https://www.u1029.u-bordeaux.fr/resume/wilfried-souleyreau/

Here is the list of different troubles i have :
    1. In preview version, we had the skills at the right of the profile, in place of widgets. Now it’s at the bottom and widget are back. Is it possible to choose where to show skills, and get them back to widget place ? The new resume widget (from v2.0) can display only a specific person resume so it’s not realy usefull in my case.

    2. The profile picture of the resume profile is now displayed as the page thumb, and so it is displayed in big, and then at the good place. As you can see here : https://www.u1029.u-bordeaux.fr/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/photo-thumb-1.png (to solve this, i can modify the template of resumes pages with yellow pencil, but i think it’s something that should be deleted anyway, or at least, thos 2 pictures should be separed as we can display the picture of the resume and another one for thumb).

    3. As you can see on the previous picture too, resumes pages have 1/3 of blank part at the left.

    4. In the past (i do thin), authors and or editor could creat and modifie resumes. Now, the only members who can do it are administrators. It would be great to be able to give acces to others members (to selected ones in their profile) or through a group maybe ?

    5. Tiny MCE doesnt work with resume editing ??

That’s the points I saw for now. The biggest issue for me is that my members are no longer able to edit/create resumes and i can’t give admin access to anyone ^^

Thanks a lot for the work, and I hope you can solve my issue soon ?? ??

    Regards,
    WS

To be honest I had to go back to 1.1.94 for instance… hope things will be solved soon…

    @wilfrieds:

Hey there, sorry about the issues you were having! The new version basically lets you use the default resume post template if you want, but using the shortcodes and widgets would be more ideal (because you can control what goes where). Most of your issues are actually related to the theme and the way it displays posts. The big image at the top, the 1/3 space on the left, etc. These are all part of the theme you’re using.

    My recommendation:

    1. Create a blank page for your resume with a custom sidebar (for the widgets). Add the shortcodes to the page to only display the intro and history sections:

    [rb-resume id="123" section="intro"]
    [rb-resume id="123" section="history"]

Then you can use the Resume Builder widget to show the skills and contact information in the sidebar. This way you have it set up like the previous version.

    More updates to come!

Yes, i had this idea to creat custom pages, the point is, it’s an academic laboratory website, the resumes are for each members of the lab. It means i have to create a page for each members. In 2 différent languages. It’s too complicated for them (they are not used to website…).

I’ll stay on Resume Builder v1.1.94 and see later for update of 2.0 ??

    Thx a lot again

@wilfrieds: The latest update displays the resume posts with skills on the right now, looks like this:
