Hi, any tips as to why I would not have anything in the logs when I download the zip?

I am trying to troubleshoot using the twig syntax for lookupviews and I get “Unexpected error. Please try again.” IF I use a lower rights user as my D365 user. If I use a D365 admin account, the lookup populates, so I’m trying to figure out what rights my lower rights user needs.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Also for that lower rights account, I can go in to CRM and in Advanced Find I see and use the view that I’m referencing in the twig, so there’s some little permission that I’m missing.

logs archives are not 100% compatible with the Windows built-in zip. Using 7zip or other archive programs will give you access to the content.

If you’re trying to find the permissions, try your low privileged account with the Fetch Xml Builder for XrmToolBox. Debug logs will be very verbose, so it might be easier using XrmToolBox to find out what privilege you’re missing.

    Thanks

Awesome, thanks! FetchXML builder showed me that I needed this user to have read perms on Security Role. Working great now.
