• So, if something could go wrong, then it will go wrong in this plugin.
Setting up the email address is a thing that one cannot ever understand. This is the first plugin where you have to setup the email address.
The SFMANUAL…a catastrophe. It is something like a Russian speaking Chinese.
Submit button does all kind of surprises, but never send the mail.
Instead, testing module works fine. That makes you more confused.
The best way to deal with this plugin, if you do not want to waste your time, is to go to another.
I have lost too much time with this plugin and I would give zero stars. Can I?

    Hello!

Sorry that you have a bad experience with the plugin. With ‘This is the first plugin where you have to setup the email address’ i guess you mean the field ‘From Email Address’?, that field is actually optional and it is used to define a different from address (the email where the email comes from) if you want. You can leave it blank if you want too. You can also find a definition of all the elements of the screen here: https://sfmanual.rednao.com/documentation/emailing/configuring-email/

‘The SFMANUAL…a catastrophe. It is something like a Russian speaking Chinese’ I admit english is not my first language (i created the documentation) so i agree it needs improvements ( and i try to improve it weekly ). I don’t think is a total catastrophe though, specially when many persons have told me it has been useful for them, but i respect your opinion.

‘Submit button does all kind of surprises, but never send the mail.’ If you are not receiving the email most of the times is because there is a misconfiguration with your email provider. The ‘Test Module’ (i guess you are talking about the email doctor?, https://sfmanual.rednao.com/documentation/emailing/resolving-problems-with-the-emails/) tries to help you find and repair the problem quickly but if it was not helpful, or make you more confused, you can always contact support.

Again, sorry that you had such a bad experience, if you want you can contact me and i can personally help you fix the email issue. Otherwise good luck with your project =).

    Regards!

Never mind, I have already deleted it.
Trust me, nobody will stand losing so much time to setup a plugin, no matter what plugin. When you install it you expect to do what it says. Losing hours to see why Submit button does not function in a Form Plugin is not the right way to work.
Otherwise, good luck with your project too.

Actually you can setup a form with 3 clicks (if you use a template) also you can create a form from zero in less than one minute.

In this case it seems that there was an issue with the reception of emails and i apologize for that, please have in mind that issues like these are not particular of this plugin, all the other plugins that have emailing feature have the same kind of problems (for example, ninja form in their support form even has a section specific for this problem).

In this case though, you mention that the documentation was not helpful at all for you and caused you alot of frustration and waste of time, sorry for that. I appreciate your feedback and i will try to improve it.

    Regards!
