Trying to activate theme with errors

What is the specific error that you are seeing?

Could you try removing the theme and then installing it again?

I tried that already but it gives me the same error. I went into my cpanel and deleted it.

What theme is it?

enable debug mode will help you find the issue

define('WP_DEBUG_LOG',     true);

in wp-config.php

Nothing seems to be working. The theme is simplepress.

Do other themes from www.ads-software.com work? If so, you need to ask the SimplePress developers for help – https://simple-press.com/support-forum/ – as commercial themes aren’t supported on these forums.
