Trying to add new SQL database to existing wordpress site

I am helping out a friend who needs a SQL database imported to her current wordpress site. I have the database sitting on my desktop, but can’t figure out how to install it into her wordpress site. I see lots of tutorials on how to create a SQL database backup, but nothing on how to add a new database. This new database is coming from an old Drupal site. any help is greatly appreciated.
