Trying to bulk edit media library photos

I read online that I can select the images I want to edit, select edit, and apply. However, when I select edit, the only option there is for trash. Is there a way to bulk edit photos or a plug-in that works to help with that?

I’ve had my site for a long time but didn’t understand the importance of categories attached to them.
