Trying to capture only two fields. Niether of them 'email'.

    I’m trying to capture only two fields: first name and city. My use for this plugin does not call for us to send out emails of any kind or even capture users’ emails.

    While I can turn off the fields and what not in the emailpetition.php file, I realize there is functionality going on else where which requires the submission of an email address.

    What steps if any do you think would point me in the right direction?

    P.S. This is a well constructed plugin, cheers!

    This thread might help a bit. You need to delete or comment out the check for duplicate emails in ajax.php and also remove the Javascript that makes that field required in public.js (for shortcode petitions) or widget.js (for widget petitions).
