Trying to create portfolio

    I am trying to create a portfolio. I have created a couple portfolio items, and am trying to understand the instructions, but I am so new, and I am missing something. I made a page to see if I could see how it looks so far, and I put the short code in the text box, and nothing is happening when I preview the page. Is there any visual guide to how to do this? From adding portfolio items (I don’t understand what url the instructions are referring to and where they go) to how to create the page or post that showcases the portfolio items. I am so lost, and I am so sorry for being such a noob. I looked everywhere for hopes of more detailed instructions.

    I appreciate the offer to help, but I don’t understand, all I need is clear instructions that anyone can understand, not just people that know code. I have tried to chat, but I am trying to build a home based business, manage a family and a home, all with a 2 year old terror taking all my time and energy. I am smart, I just need instructions, and I don’t have time for an online chat of any kind. If that is too much to ask, I can find another plugin. Thanks tho.

    Well I could certainly use your help. As long as you can provide details and/or some sort of walk though…that would be great. The question that was asked before is exactly my problem. Realize though, that I am absolutely new also, so resiting code may get a blank stare. LOL
