trying to delete shaded box with “ABOUT (my name)

  • I am a beginner and am not sure what the solution is for this. On each of my posts there is a shaded box with ‘ABOUT MARIANNE’ just below the post and signature, but before the tags.

    If someone could lead me in the correct direction, it would be much appreciated.

  • I had the same problem, the solution I found was to hide the author_bio section

    Just go to theme > customize > Additional CSS and add:

    .author_bio_section{
    display:none;
    }

    Then save and it will be gone!

    This does not work for me. Any other solutions? Also, when you go to the Additional CSS – there is a note that you can add codes there, but should I remove that note.. add this code above that note or below it. I added this code above the note leaving the note in place and it did nothing. Thanks for any help.
