Trying to find a good invoicing plugin

I’m looking for a WordPress invoicing plugin to, not only, invoice singular projects but to also have recurring invoices for maintenance plans that charges the client at the same time every month.

I’ve done a lot of research on this but I can’t seem to find exactly what I am looking for. I am aware of the main players in WordPress invoicing: WP-Invoice, Sprout Apps, ithemes Exchange (with add ons), etc. All of these are great plugins but they don’t do exactly what I would like/need. Exchange shows promise but I can’t drop $200 on it right now to try it out and I’m not sure about adding a whole e-commerce plugin just for invoicing. I know there are some non WordPress solutions out there but I’d like to keep it in the WordPress ecosphere.

Because I can’t seem to find exactly what I’m looking for, I decided to reach to the WordPress community and see what you guys have to say.

Here’s what I would like to have:

• An invoicing plugin that I can send out one off invoices(from the backend) as well as recurring invoices.
• The recurring invoices need to be an automatic charge to the client as well as send a reminder that they will be charged. I have seen some plugins saying that if a customer pays their first recurring invoice, say on the 20th, then it will always be charged on that day of the month, I really can’t have that. My clients are bad enough as it is responding to regular invoices, hence my need for an invoice plugin, so I need it to always be charged on the first of the month. I think it is also important to not just send a reminder but to send an automatic invoice, perhaps with a new invoice number, at the first of every month so the client can keep track of their expenditures.
• It needs to have Stripe payments.
• I’d like a client dashboard where they could login and see when their next scheduled payment is, maybe change payment options (if they get a new card), see past payments, and download current and previous invoices. Also just general customer information.
• Another great, but not essential, feature would be for new clients to register for the site and await admin approval.

I have considered developing my own plugin to do exactly what I need but I have to have a system integrated as soon as possible – maybe I will create something in the future. For now, if anyone knows of a plugin or system that does what I need, I would love to hear about it!

P.S. I will be implementing a SSL on my site for Stripe and security reasons, in case I was asked this later.
