Ahh, this part is included with the rest…
I tried to run the GM importer script and when I click okay I get this error
Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/babe/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/import-greymatter.php on line 32
Wrong path, /public_html/archives/ doesn’t exist on the server
I used my FTP to find the paths
The path to the archives, or what I put is “/public_html/archives/”
and to the files is “/public_html/cgi-bin/”
thanks, I hope someone can help

i have the exact same problem.

    me too

I am getting the same problem. I wonder if it has to do with file permissions that I set when I first installed GreyMatter on my server. Or maybe my server (Powweb) has an oddball protection.

I got it to work! After having tried many different ways to hopefully link to my file directories, it occurred to me to try to use the information that the GM import program listed in its error message, which follows:
Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in /www/c/cowger/docs/weblog/wp-admin/import-greymatter.php on line 32
Wrong path, /oldweblog/archives doesn’t exist on the server
Previously, I had entered “/oldweblog/archives” into the “Path to GM entries” box (along with many other versions in my attempt to get the program to work. Finally getting it right, I entered the following in the “Path to GM entries” box:
    /www/c/cowger/docs/oldweblog/archives
It worked! Keep in mind that “/www/c” are parts of the directory information that I never have to enter when I work with my weblog and server–but the server still uses them.

The trick apparently is to use the exact same paths you are using in you greymatter configuration.
