• I have never tried WordPress before, and I’m now trying to install it.

When I try to install it opening “install.php” it opens a download window instead! I have tried to open other files but it never works. It just tries to download the files instead of opening them. How do I fix this? I am using Firefox 1.5 and Internet Explorer 6SP1, the same thing happens for both programs.

About the “wp-config.php” file, I am not sure about how to config it correctly. I just came up with a username and password. Is this wrong? Maybe I should obtain “correct” settings somehow. If so – how do I do that?

I have the latest PHP and MySQL installed.

    Thanks in advance.
