• I’m trying to install WordPress onto 123-reg and I keep getting
There was a problem installing the requested script. Please make sure that the directory you are installing to is empty.
and within the content bit in File Manager, I have nothing and when it asks for the installation directory, I’ve left it blank.

I’ve tried closing my browser, creating a folder in the content and copying the name over to the installation directory and I’m still getting the error.

    What do I do??

You’ll need to ask your hosting provider about. We have no control over their third-party installers, so there isn’t much we can suggest besides “I guess make sure the directory is empty,” which it sounds like it is. ??

If you do a manual installation, I’m sure it will work, but if not, we can definitely help with that: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_WordPress
