Trying to remove phantom home link in menu

Hello, I am using the Pinzolo theme. I want to specify the information that appears in internet search results and I believe I need to add a “Home” page to my pages to achieve this, so that I can type in a specific Meta description. However, doing this adds a second homepage to my menu. I have tried to add a Home page, change my reading to a static page, selecting the new home page, and deleting the extra homepage in the Header.php file, but it doesn’t to the trick.
