• As I’ve mentioned in my other posts, I am a newbie to all of this.
I am trying to put a gallery onto my blog site, tmreisinger.com. I’ve been looking at posts trying to find an easy to use and setup plug in and I have found some that look easy, but my one (newbie) question is when I am told to create link to my gallery. Where do I put this link?? the gallery is going to be a page so do I create the link in the maintain/pages?? I was trying out Lazy gallery and I have to create a link to my lazy-index.php, but I don’t know where I am suppose to create this link at. I read some not so good things about Lazy gallery so I looked at some others and I still have to create this link.

Is lazy-K gallery an easier one to use??

    thanks Tim

  • While I can’t answer for other plugins, for my AWSOM Pixgallery image gallery plugin the link goes within either a page or a post, in the same area you place the regular text of the post.So basically you’d go to “write” start a opage, then input the code. The newest version of the plugin has a code generator function to help you input the right link by cutting and pasting it from the manage galleries area. This is all very easy if you use the default gallery that the plugin creates for you.

Well I’ve got the gallery started with Awsom Pixgallery gallery plug in, but now all of my images are showing up. I’ve got them all resized down to a size that should work but I am still not getting picts. I resized using PS, they are down to 150 px max. which is smaller than the picture that is showing up.

    Help
    thanks

Problem fixed… I had a # sign in my picture name and that must have been throwing the code off.

Was the # sign part of the original file name, or was that a custom name you put in in the Image caption area?
