    Just upgraded to DreamPress Plus which comes with JetPack Pro. Cannot get it to install. The Dreamhost based install button for jp pro does something for a while, then it just stops. No error given, including in error.log. WP Debug shows occasional communication error, but not consistent. xml-rpc is running.

    Since I haven’t been able to complete the upgrade, have to post here because the paid product doesn’t seem to show up for the account/site.

    There are more details, but not that I want to put in here.

    Update to this – received the following from my hosting provider:

    I did dig into this and it appears that all the checks are in place on our end. The one error I do see is stemming from their end of things and it seems that the site may already be registered with them:

    Jetpack: [already_registered] Blog is already registered 2023-02-14

    The plan is now in place on your site, but I do still see some connection errors.

    Would you be able to try the following for me?

    From the wp-admin dashboard of your site, please go to Jetpack > Dashboard. Then under the Connections section, click Manage site connection in that box.
    ?
    Click the Disconnect button. If it’s already disconnected, you can skip to the next step.
    ?
    Deactivate your Jetpack plugin by heading to Plugins > Installed Plugins and finding Jetpack. After a few moments, activate it.
    ?
    Back in Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > Manage site connection, Click the Set up Jetpack button and continue through the approval process.
    ?
    Please let me know the results of this troubleshooting and we can go from there.

    I’m not sure. The backups work, stats are collected, Etc. – but sometimes I have to re-establish the connection from the dashboard. I haven’t been able to determine for sure any cause or consistency to what’s going on.

    It may be due to the security plugins / features on the site. I don’t want to put those in a public form, so if possible, can we go offline and I’ll get you the list of what I’m using. Then hopefully you have some links to settings and such that I can verify on my own before taking up your time with it.
