The error we are getting in the sidebox is …
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

I opened the URL for the feed in FireFox and it tells me that everything is fine. I can view the feed contents, and it’s certificate checks out. It’s issued from GeoTrustGlobal.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get this resolved?

I have the same issue as well. I’m guessing this is a WordPress running on Windows issue. I’m hoping that someone can give some advice??!?!!

I am using Windows, but it doesn’t seem to matter.

Current plan to get the https feed is to use WGET to pull the feed content down and store it locally, then essentially re-feed it from my server via an obfuscated http URL on my site.

If someone has a better idea, I’m all ears!!

PS – I’m giving up on trying to host our site on Windows IIS and switching to a Linux/Apache based server. WordPress itself works great, but too many of the Add-On packages for WordPress don’t like it. My guess is I’m going to still have the same problem with the RSS feed coming in via https rather than http. I’ll post back here when I know more, the new Linux server is running, just waiting for it’s CName and then SSL cert.
