    Hi there,

Great work, thank you for your service!

Initially it seemed to work, but now the [tsml_next_meetings count="5"] widget seems to not display the next upcoming meetings (I am uncertain if this is an intermittent issue). It also does not display the day of the meetings (which may make it far more easier to determine this issue). We are a small region with only 14 meetings a week.

I have left the script active on our site (bottom of page)

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hey, I’m excited that you’re using the plugin!

    Is your timezone set correctly?

Right now it looks like it’s 02:30 on Sunday in Vienna. Looks like I’m getting five sequential meetings starting on Monday morning.

The other possibility is that there’s a bug in the code that’s specific to Sundays.

Most areas are big enough not to need a day column in the table, but I should probably add it and hide it, so you can un-hide it using CSS.

Yes timezone is set correctly, perhaps our region only having 14 meetings may have revealed something that may not have been obvious to spot.

After contemplation, adding the day column suggestion may not be the way to go. This widget has a little different application than the normal meeting list. So I would suggest for some other logic, perhaps it would say “today”, “tomorrow” etc rather than print the specific day.

For example a “temporal” setting would only permit a scope of two days to be printed “today” and “tomorrow” and for those two dates print no more than 5.

    [tsml_next_meetings printday="temporal" count="5"]

    Just an idea!
    Thanks for the great work!

Rather than debug the sort, I fixed this by only showing the next meetings today.

It turns out that this widget wasn’t very good at scale, the wraparound feature meant that I had to select all the meetings and sort them, and this can take a long time if you have a lot of meetings.

Sorry, that didn’t really fix it the way that you had hoped, but I think it’s more or less corrected now.

Would you like to be added to the Meeting Guide app?
