    Hi,

My website only has 2 plugins enabled, elementor and autoptimize.
When i enable one of the javascript optimize or css optimize or html optimize options the TTFB goes up and the content download time goes down. As follows:

When Option Optimize (css, js, html) is enabled:
Average TTFB (Time to first bite) is 4.87s
    Content Download Time: 33.16ms

When Option Optimize (css, js, html) is disabled:
Average TTFB (Time to first bite) is 300 ms
    Content Download Time: 4.42s

I want the ttfb to be as low as when the optimize option is turned off. Looking forward to your help.

    Thanks!

It will be impossible to have the same TTFB with Autoptimize enabled (which is why AO should always be combined with a page caching solution), but 4.8s is _very_ high.

Try changing settings to match what AO 3.0 (likely out tomorrow) has as default settings:

-> JS optimization: “don’t defer but aggregate” + “also defer inline JS” + remove default exclusions
-> CSS optimization: disable “aggregate CSS”

let me know how that changes the numbers ??
