• We have recently been having a very slow ‘time to first bite issue’ on our website (around 20 seconds). After much troubleshooting, we have determined that if we deactivate our WP Stateless plugin, this issue is resolved (TTFB = 2 seconds)

From what I can see all our data has been optimised. I hope someone can help us fix this issue? We have no idea what to do next.

Thanks for the report! I have a few followup inquiries…

    1. Please share the Status report from the WP-Stateless > Status tab.
    2. Have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one? Perhaps there is a conflict with another plugin or your theme. Knowing this would help us improve our implementation.
    3. Have you experienced this slowness since installing WP-Stateless? or is it from a recent upgrade?

Hi Eric, thanks for following up. This one is very strange. Below is the status report. This is from our dev server which has the same issue.

We have tried all sorts of combinations with plugins. But it just became really obvious that as soon as we deactivate WP Stateless we had no issue with TTFB. Very strange!

We have been running WP Stateless for a good couple of years now.

What changed? When did it start to become slow?

To be honest, it files like when we renewed an SSL certificate. However I am not sure how that could be related? Either way we have test with a different SSL cert and even direct with http … Very confusing for us!
