TTFB Really high when plugin enabled

    Dear Darkmode,

    I am starting a new website like many websites i have built before and want to implement the WP dark mode plugin from the start. Now i notice the TTFB or first response by the server is at least 2 times slower when the plugin is active than if it is disabled: https://imgur.com/a/oBV32bu

    I have version 4.1.2 installed of your plugin on WordPress 6.2 with php 8.0. The hosting party is Hostinger and i use cloudflare cdn and dns.
    Sadly i couldn’t find anything in documentation what could possibly be an issue.

    I hope to hear from you because i would love to build this website with your plugin in it.

    This is still an issue, altough i worked around with “instant click” setting which means the page will be loaded already when you hoven the mouse over it (lightspeed caching plugin if anyone wonders). Now just the issue of white flashing when a page loads ??
