I can’t tell you how incredibly frustrating it is to drag and drop your widgets in to a block only to see it completely ignore the styles I’ve added to my theme’s style.css. It is far faster for me to set these styles by css than to click through all of your options and set them. But the length of time it takes for me to see what selectors you’ve used so that I can manually override them completely kills my time budget.

Then I look at the settings for that element and its all blank and defaulting back to something. At the very least maybe you can put check boxes that completely turn off all styles for a specific element in a widget.

    Hello,

Please uncheck the Disable Default Color/Font settings in Elementor settings.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah but that doesn’t address the never ending nest of paddings and margins between containers. This stuff always ends up throwing off lining up content and images and other stuff.

    Hello @sgumby,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable the default padding/margins.

When adding a container or widget, you will have to manually set the margin/padding to ‘0’ in the Advanced tab.

Alternatively, you can use custom CSS as well. But this is beyond the scope of our support.

    Best Regards.
