Turn off Braintree Vault ID Display in Non Admin Users Backend

    Every user with access to the backend admin area -> go to profile to edit settings sees the section

    Braintree Vault ID’s
    These are the Braintree Vault ID’s associated with this user. If you want to remove the user’s vault ID, delete it and click Update Profile.

    If you change the vault ID, the payment methods for the new ID will be imported automatically.

    Production Vault ID
    Sandbox Vault ID

    Braintree Payment Methods
    Production
    Method Gateway Actions
    Sandbox
    Method Gateway Actions

    It is Ok if only someone with administrator privilege sees it but everyone does as long as they login to the admin backend

    How do I turn this off or stop this from displaying in the backend

    @rotcorp,

    The ability to turn that off doesn’t exists in the plugin currently. It’s assumed that if the user is logging in to your WordPress backend that they have the ability to view and edit the profile information. Access to the backend shouldn’t be granted to everyone.

    But other than administrator, a user, (such as customer, editor, subscriber, etc) would not need to change Sandbox Vault ID and/or Sandbox
    Method Gateway Actions. It would be helpful if one can hide that and show only for admininistrator.

    @rotcorp I will add a note to include a restriction in the next release. But my question is why would any of those user types be accessing the WordPress admin in the first place?

    Of all the roles that you mentioned only editor is one that I would expect to have some access to the administration console.

    Thank you. We have contributor, editor etc.
