Turn off caching for vanilla forum in subdomain?

Hi
I have a client WP site hosted by bluehost.
https://www.mallorcanytt.com
The site files are located in webroot.

Then i have a vanillaforums.org forum installed in a separate subdomain at:
forum.mallorcanytt.com
These files are located in a directory in webroot:
/forum.mallorcanytt.com

The urls for the forum is like:
https://forum.mallorcanytt.com/discussion/411/fastighetsmaeklare-pa-mallorca-titta-hit

Problem:
W3 Total Cache caches the forum pages also causing all sorts of problem/faults. How can i exclude the subdomain from being cached?

Are you using W3TC in network mode? If so, you can set a policy per subdomain by disabling network wide policies on the general settings tab as appropriate.

The WP installation is a single site blog. So i guess W3TC can’t be in network mode then. Am i right?

I just installed W3TC and turned on page, object and browser cache.
No other setting that i can remember.

I also got garbled characters for ??? in the vanilla forum install.

So… I just cant figure out why W3TC affects the forum install in the subdomain. Is it possible to exclude the subdomain?

Can i provide you with more info to figure this out?
