I was playing with this plugin earlier today but I couldn’t find any way to turn it off on a per page basis.

It seems the only choice is either “all pages” or “no pages.”

I went to individual pages and looked for the option to turn the social buttons off on an individual page but couldn’t find it.

    Am I missing something obvious?

Or does this plugin just not work that way?

There are two ways to approach this, depending on whether you want buttons to usually show or not.

If you want buttons to show on a post or page unless you decide not to show them, enable the buttons for that post type on the plugin settings page. With that enabled, when you go to the post editor, you will have a new “Scriptless Social Sharing” box in the right hand column, under the publishing/featured image options. In that box, you can set some custom Pinterest attributes, and disable the buttons from showing on that post/page (it’s just a checkbox which says, “Don’t show sharing buttons for this post”).

If you do not want buttons to show on a post type unless you add them yourself, the other way to do it would be to leave it disabled on the settings page, and then use the block (or shortcode) to manually add the buttons to a specific post/page.

    Thank you Robin!

I had specifically looked for a checkbox like what you are describing but did not see one anywhere.

I will have to have a closer look.

If it is indeed there (and I don’t doubt you) that solves my problem exactly. ??
