• is there a way to turn off a few users posts (in total around 200 posts) with out turning each post in to a draft and/or deleting the posts?

  • You coould probably set the status to private. I’ve seen a plugin/hack that will let you edit post attributes (status, category, etc) in bulk mode. You may want to search for that.

    i saw the batch catagory plugin
    my main question is if there is a plugin or hack to make a specific catagory hidden so only admins would be able to see it…

    kafkaequi posted the SQL command to change entries writen by specific users from posted entries to drafts in a simple sql command and vice versa…

    since then it’s been erased here… does anyone remember how to do this again?

    Again with the vanishing forum posts…

    UPDATE wp_posts SET post_status = "draft" WHERE post_author = "2";

    Recall that post_author is for the numeric user ID.
