    Can someone tell me where to eliminate the device detection script? I don’t want the site to change based on screen size. thanks.

    However,
    You can take the line of code out of your header.php
    or maybe /*comment*/ out queries in css…

    You can remove the media specific CSS part from the bottom of the style.css file.
