“Enable Multi-Currency” is turned on, and the option in the Multi-currency tab for “Automatically switch customers to their local currency if it has been enabled” is turned on. We want these options. BUT we don’t want the ‘store alert banner’ to display (i.e. the big banner that says e.g. “We noticed you’re visisting from ‘country’. We’ve updated our prices to ‘country currency’ for your shopping convenience.”).

How can this be turned off? Or at least only displayed on product/cart pages?

  • Hi @smartyp

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you want to hide the store notice about the currency switch notice same as the image below when the multi-currency is enabled on your site, correct?

Checking the plugin’s settings, I am unable to find anything that could disable this function as well. Tried to hide it via CSS, however, it is not working too.

Feel free to raise your concern as a feature request here. Developers look up to these requests to be included in the next release.

    Thanks!

Yeah because of the way it’s been built there doesn’t seem to be any way to hide it using css (without blocking other messages) or override the code to prevent displaying it either.

I did submit a feature request as suggested (thanks). But a week later and it doesn’t even show in the request list yet. ˉ_(ツ)_/ˉ
