I somehow managed to turn off stock management which I was doing at the variation level. When I turned it back on it defaulted to the product level. How can I turn it on at the variation level in bulk? I have way too many SKUs to do it individually.

    Hi @kyle9296

To enable stock management at the variation level in bulk, please follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to ‘Products’ > ‘All Products’.
    2. Select the products for which you want to enable stock management at the variation level. You can use the search bar or filters to find specific products.
    3. Once you have selected the desired products, choose ‘Edit’ from the ‘Bulk Actions’ dropdown menu at the top of the product list, and click ‘Apply’.
    4. In the Bulk Edit options, locate the ‘Stock status’ field and select ‘Manage stock’ from the dropdown menu.
    5. Next, locate the ‘Enable stock management at product level’ field and select ‘No’ from the dropdown menu. This will disable stock management at the product level, allowing you to manage it at the variation level.
    6. Click ‘Update’ to save the changes.

Now, stock management should be enabled at the variation level for all the selected products. You can verify this by editing a product with variations and checking the ‘Inventory’ tab for each variation. You should see the stock management options available for each variation.

You can also use the WooCommerce Bulk Stock Management plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/bulk-stock-management/.

    I hope this helps! Thanks.

Under ‘Product Data’ I found the ‘Manage Stock?’ option but nothing that says ‘stock status’ or a dropdown that has ‘Enable stock management at product level’?in it.

I’m trying the Woocommerce Bulk Stock Management plugin you suggested. When I turn on the stock management at the variation level, the plugin deletes all of my stock numbers. So far I’m screwed either way.

    Hi @kyle9296

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you have accidentally turned off stock management at the variation level and, upon turning it back on, it defaulted to the product level, correct?

One option is to export all products on your site using the built-in Product CSV Importer and Exporter. From the CSV file, you can filter the variations and update the Stock Quantity column.

Another option would be to use the premium plugin Bulk Edit Products, Prices, and Attributes to easily bulk edit any WooCommerce product fields and meta values.

Did you know that if you want to try our products, it comes with a 30-day refund policy? If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You can read more about our refund policy on our website here.

    Hope this helps!
