• This is the last version with “base caching” enabled,
base caching was a basic function and was really good,
no need to remove it other than trying to sell more Keys/Licenses.

I can’t afford licenses for my 90 websites,
expecially with that prices and recurring renewal (no lifetime license).

    I will find another software.

  • Hi Elan,
I’m not sure what you mean with your title. You can find an explanation of why we have removed the cache functions from Wordfence on our blog.

If you want to use fewer keys use multi site WordPress instead of many single sites. Only one key is required per WordPress installation.

I wish you all the best of luck with your 90 sites and I hope you find a service that suits you!

It’s really unclear why to remove also basic caching at this point.

I’ll have to find another plugin … again.

    Hi Elan,
WP Super Cache (for single and multisite) and Simple cache (works best for single site) are two cache plugins that are free and easy to use.

    Good luck!
