Turning 4,000+ html pages into posts, or…

    This has got to be impossible, or quite a challenge:

    I have a client who has put up, via Dreamweaver, a Photo of the Day for 11 years, one image per page…

    I’m in the process of creating a wordpress site for him, and I’m pondering how to bring all these photos into the site. I’ve started a wordpress-style Photo of the Day:

    Wouldn’t it be nice to bring all those 11 years of images (365 x 11 = 4,015 pages) into his wordpress site, with dates and captions and tags and categories…

    Hopeless?

    Actually, having written all this, I should say his ultimate goal is to license images and sell prints. Is there a good stock image plugin?

    Any suggestions appreciated.
