Turning free website in to paid website?

Paid membership pro works for individual pages and posts. Suppose I have 1000 pages or posts and they are free to access. Now If I want to charge a fee to access these pages and posts, do I need to go to every page or post manually to assign them to different levels using check box or there is a way that i can do it for all posts and pages at once?
