Turning Linked Images to local images

Hello,

Im currently running a website with different kinds of articles about vermin. Now, I usually add pictures to the site using Add using Url in the gallery. I did this because i thought it would be loading faster. Now, i kinda regret it. As i think its better to have local images for my SEO.

Is this right? And is there a plugin to convert the images from url to local images (“download them from the url and save them on my server without changing anything”)
